This practical closure means no pulling over the head: you lay baby on the open cardigan, slip arms gently into the sleeves, and button. Every movement stays gentle, with no sudden handling. The generous cut covers the torso down to the hips; the jersey and garter stitch—two stable knits, neither too tight nor too loose—hold their shape without restricting.
Fine merino wool that breathes
The fine merino wool we knit is spun by the Fonty mill in the Creuse, awarded the Living Heritage Company label. Soft and fine, merino wool regulates temperature naturally, keeps just the right warmth without overheating, and absorbs up to 30% of its weight in moisture. The finishes are delicate, linked stitch by stitch, laid flat, so no ridge marks the skin. This merino cardigan sees baby through the first days, then the first months, then passes on to a younger sibling or another little one.
