We work with merino wool spun by the French mill Fonty, founded in the 19th century in the Creuse region and awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label. The fineness of the fibre makes it soft to the touch. Merino wool breathes and regulates heat, absorbs moisture—properties that matter when skin is delicate and thermal regulation still developing. The merino fibre is naturally antibacterial: it stays fresh longer, even when worn for hours. It doesn't scratch, unlike standard wool, and suits sensitive skin.

The knitting is done in the Île-de-France region. The finishing is meticulous: each stitch is linked one by one, so no seam leaves a mark. These trousers are made to be passed down.
